Ecoprise Will Be Presented at the 6th International Conference “Literacies and Contemporary Society”!

We are pleased to announce that Ecoprise will be presented at the 6th International Conference “Literacies and Contemporary Society: From Skills to Practices”, taking place on 24–25 February in Cyprus.

Organized by the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute (Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth) in collaboration with the University of Cyprus, the Conference is part of the official activities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union (first half of 2026).

Our presentation, “Ecoprise Prototype: An Entrepreneurial Model for Learning Regeneration Literacy,” explores how regeneration-oriented entrepreneurship can support the development of contemporary literacies. Inspired by ecovillage micro-societies and permaculture ethics, the Ecoprise model promotes community-rooted enterprises across environmental, social, cultural, and economic dimensions.

The project introduces the Ecoprise Designer, a new professional profile for local regenerative development, supported by a skillset aligned with GreenComp, EntreComp, DigComp, and LifeComp. These competencies are embedded in the Ecoprise Course, a MOOC designed to support teachers’ professional development and enable place-based, interdisciplinary learning.
